modeling for nikeFamous for it’s spectacular athletic department and technology, Nike is possibly the most successful corporation focused on athletic gear and training, and modeling for Nike is a great way to break into the world of fashion modeling.

Not only does Nike sell athletic shoes and apparel, but it has programs of exercise for it’s application Nike+. This was able to continually help people get fit while wearing and using Nike products to assist them in their determined work. This and many other branches of Nike found it’s place in the sporting community in no time.

Starting in 1964 as “Blue Ribbon Sports”, Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight changed it to Nike, Inc. in 1978, named after the Greek goddess of victory. With that, they started other companies, their most famous being Air Jordan. Named after Micheal Jordan, Nike successfully advertised with Micheal when he was only a rookie, creating the name Air Jordan when Micheal reached stardom. Since then, Micheal Jordan is still one of the most famous, and is still a brand today, a Nike needs models just like you to spread the word about their brand.

The second most famous brand after was Converse, a brand of shoes that are popular even today as lifestyle fashion and athletic apparel. Named after manager Marquis Converse, the shoes began as tennis shoes and ended as all-around super shoes! After jumping around from manager to manager, the shoe brand hit it’s peak after going into the skateboarding business, and has hosted skating events since then. So not only can modeling for Nike help you break into the world of fashion modeling, but you can multiple your efforts by modeling for Converse as well, gaining more exposure and building your modeling portfolio even further.

As time passed, more and more people started buying Nike apparel. Many famous basketball, football, soccer, and college teams wear and use their apparel and equipment. With so much money and such great technology, lots of people are willing to get into the Nike business. Nike became a global franchise that just about everyone knows, and some people just can’t live without.

The people who are most respected in sports are Nike wearers… so why not you? Modeling for Nike’s newest shoes, fitness products and clothing is the perfect modeling job if you’re fit and excited to enter the world of fashion and or fitness modeling.     Hello, I’m about 5’4 and 120lbs. I’m 13 turning 14 in January. I can play almost any sport. For example: I played softball, take tumbling, I’m good at volleyball. Ran track for 4 years going to the junior olympics every year and got a medal there out of a hundred girls. I also played basketball. When older woman see me, they always tell me that they wish they had muscles like me. Others ask if I work out which I only go to zumba sometimes with my mom.
