ABC has announced that they will be adding a murder mystery reality show Whodunnit to the 2013 summer slate. From the co creator of CSI Anthony E. Zuiker the show will get a nine episode summer run and this is your opportunity to audition for the show. Whodunnit takes a lighter approach to the procedural with contestants vying to determine which one of them committed a fictional murder. If you are a wanna be detective or if you know the ending of every suspense movie before it even starts than the casting directors at ABC want to hear from you. Applications are now being accepted for male and female contestants over the age of 18, so do not miss out on your opportunity apply now.
Imagine the board game Clue in a game show setting and you essentially have Whodunnit. Thirteen contestants will live together at “a glamorous estate” and solve a different case each week; those who don’t will be eliminated. One of the contestants is also the “killer,” and the contestant who unmasks him or her will win $250,000. With the success that ABC had with previous mystery games like The Mole and Take The Money and Run we are sure that Whodunnit will do just fine.
