Anna Faris – CBS Pilot Mom


From comedy king producer Chuck Lorre, who many of you might recognize from the hit show Big Bang Theory and Two and A Half Men comes a new comedy “Mom” staring Ana Faris. CBS and Lorre have partnered up for a half hour project, which is instantly becoming a top prospect for the network’s fall 2013 schedule. Mom will center on a newly sober single mom (Faris) who tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley. Joining Ana Faris will be West Wing Emmy Winner Allison Janney, who has been cast as Anna Faris’ mother. The casting directors at CBS are now taking submissions for male and female actors for several supporting roles in the hit CBS pilot. This is a great opportunity for any aspiring actors that are looking for their big break.

Mom, which Lorre co-wrote with Two and a Half Men exec producer Eddie Gorodetskyand story editor Gemma Baker, revolves around a recently sober single mother as she attempts to get her life in order in Napa Valley. Lorre and Gorodetsky will executive produce the Chuck Lorre Productions/Warner Bros.
