Nickelodeon’s Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande will be joining each other on set for Disney new iCarly spin-off Sam and Cat. McCurdy, 21, will continue her role as Sam Puckett. She and Grande’s character will become unlikely room mates who start a babysitting business together. Sam & Cat” will begin taping in January and premier next year with a 20 episode order from the popular kids television network. Creator of iCarly Dan Scneider has said that they are now taking applications for kids of all ages for several roles in the new series. Sam and Cat,will revolve around Sam Puckett (McCurdy) and daffy Cat Valentine (Grande) become best buddies and unlikely roommates. Rather than get traditional after-school jobs, Sam and Cat become teen entrepreneurs by starting their own baby-sitting business. With filming slated to start very soon the casting directors are now taking applications for kids of all ages for several roles in Sam and Cat.
