TNT has announced that they will be releasing their new pilot series Legends in mid 2013. Homeland duo Howard Gordon and Alexander Cary are executive-producing the pilot, which comes from Fox 21, as are Jeffrey Nachmanoff (“The Day After Tomorrow”) and Jonathan Levin (“Charmed”). The plot of Legends is based upon the novel written by Robert Littell. Like Homeland, Legends does involve intrigue. It was originally said that Brendan Fraser was to star in the hit series but TNT has decided to replace him Steve Harris and Game of Thrones alum Sean Bean. The casting directors are now casting for several roles in the pilot including supporting roles and extras. This is a great opportunity for any actor that is looking for their big break.
Legends follows a deep-cover operative named Martin Odum, who has an uncanny ability to transform himself into a different person for each job. But his own identity comes into question when a mysterious stranger suggests that Martin isn’t who he thinks he is. The Practice alum Harris will play Yates, the director of the DCO Task Force who reinstates Martin to an undercover job. Legends reunites Harris and Gordon, who worked together on the midseason NBC drama Awake, executive produced by Gordon and co-starring Harris.
The casting directors at TNT are now on a national search for numerous actors for Legends including supporting and extra roles. They are looking for union and non union actors to apply. If you are intersted in auditioning for Legends please submit your information along with several recent photos and a resume. Please keep checking back often for more information on casting dates and times and as always let us know what you think about TNT’s new pilot series.
