Looney Tunes are back in action! The cast of “that’s all folks” that includes Bugs Bunny, Taz, Tweety Bird and many more are rumored to make a comeback on the big screen. The last trip to this particular ‘toon well happened in 2003 and co-starred Brendan Fraser and Jenna Elfman alongside the animated regulars. Former Saturday Night Live cast member Jenny Slate has been hired to write the script for this hybrid live-action/CG film, joining her will be David Heyman, one of the driving forces behind the “Harry Potter” franchise. Casting for the voice overs have now began and this is your opportunity to have your voice heard in what is one of the most popular cartoons in the world. This is a great opportunity for anyone that is looking to get their voice recognized.
Looney Tunes, of course, is the name of the classic Warner Bros. cartoon shorts that began in the 1930s and feature such beloved animated characters as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Wile E. Coyote, Tweety Bird and a host of others. Looney Tunes has been around in cartoon form since the 1930s, but the most successful feature-length film was the blend of live-action and cartoon animated Space Jam in 1996.They entertained audiences across the globe for many years and now they are making a comeback. Nothing has been revealed about Slate’s take, but we do know it’s another live-action / CG blend job.
