If you’ve ever wanted to model for Abercrombie, or even work at one of their retail stores in your local mall, you need to check this out…
Apparently Abercrombie has very specific rules about hairstyles on their models and employees!
I was surfing the internet this morning for modeling opportunities to post on MSA, and I have been having a lot of requests for modeling jobs for places like hollister, abercrombie, and other populare teenage brands, and I stumbled upon this article. Here’s a short excerpt:
“We realize that the manner in which you style your hair is highly personal and subject to your own tastes and preferences,” Abercrombie said in an internal “Hairstyle Sketchbook” intended for store employees, dated Aug. 29, 2013. “While we respect your individuality, it is important that we maintain a consistent level of dress and grooming that represents what people expect from the Abercrombie & Fitch brand.”

What do you guys and girls think? Personally, I think it’s kind of crazy, there’s literally thousands of hairstyles and a lot of them look really good, so why narrow it down to only 5 acceptable styles, Abercrombie?
