Modeling For American Eagle

modeling for american eagle logoStarting in 1977 and being now one of the most popular clothing brands, American Eagle began when Jerry and Mark Silverman opened their shop in Twelve Oaks Mall, located in Michigan. Since then, they have revolutionized denim fitting systems, their annual sales passing 1 billion, and given a ton of opportunities for models to begin their fashion modeling careers as models for American Eagle.

With it’s target audience being 15-25, AEO not only is a success story on it’s own, but has over 500 stores in and outside the United States. Owning the company “aerie”, “77kids”, and “AEO FACTORY”, American Eagle has caught the attention of the stylish and the fantastic. With original work in their clothes, they began partnerships with leading fashion & retail recruiting agency “JBCStyle” and began working on making AEO the next big thing. Soon, everyone started wearing American Eagle clothing, and the income shot through the roof!

And it doesn’t end there, ladies and gentlemen! As time went on, more stores were made worldwide, now with a total of 911 AEO’s and 158 “aerie”s. Revenue for AEO became 3.16 billion bollars, and more styles have been added ever since they started as a little store at Twelve Oaks. Truly, AEO has done a great job at making you and everyone else look great, feel great, and be great. Don’t take our word for it: Take the people working there!

For AEO’s company “aerie”, their star model Nina Adgal began after competing in the Denmark Elite Model Look Competition. She began to work out and found her beauty to get herself into a position in AEO’s company in no time. Now, she’s the face of “aerie” and has gotten into the “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition” (nominated ‘Rookie of the Year’) and the “Carl’s Junior” Superbowl ad! She has a dalmatian named Boo, plays basketball in her free time, and is currently going out with the Voice’s Adam Levine. As you can see, modeling for American Eagle is no small feat, it’s a great stepping stone to any models career in fashion.

Another success story is not a model, but a famous fashion designer! Jenn Rogien, costume designer for HBO’s “GIRLS” and the new Netflix series “Orange is the New Black”, will be working with models as the Style & Fit Expert. Starting as a assistant buyer st Saks Fifth Avenue, she had known that she would be able to make a difference in the modeling business… but was unsure of what position. She decided after a fews years as a buyer to do work at Parsons (the newest design school) and began her adventure there. Her creativity and fantastic styles will be on display soon in “aerie” stores near you!

Successful models from around the world have successfully gotten into American Eagle’s franchise, so if you have the desire to work in the modeling industry, an American Eagle modeling job  may be the right choice for you! With it’s summery fashions and snug winter wear, you’ll feel comfortable working with AEO if you’re the young and free-spirited type. Just imagine yourself, having fun on the beach with all your friends at your big summer party; That’s exactly the mood American Eagle is looking for in their models.

  20. Yes, the fashion industry is known to be a hard business to get into, but why not crack the door open a bit to give people the opportunity to show what they are made of? Many states do not have agencies or schools for this field of work (and we run the risk of running into scams with the few that we can find), thus it is even more difficult without proper resources. It should not be that a person must move to one of the few “major” cities in the U.S.A. to pursue their dream in fashion without the proper finances to do so, and it does not mean they love & want this dream any less than the person who IS prepared to completely uproot their lives and go.

I am unable to find just the right words to express how much I appreciate the opportunity you all (and any others similar to your recruitment-style) have bestowed upon us with little experience but are looking to gain the necessary skills from hands on experience in order to become successful and respected. So I will give what always packs a punch. A sweet & simple “THANK YOU,”

From the bottom of my heart,

    Marie

Thank you for giving myself and so many people such a wonderful opportunity.

  22. Thank you for having opportunities to recruit people as models at American eagle. It would be an honor and an amazing experience working with you guys. I’d love to learn everything about modeling with your brand. Thank you and have a good day!
