Switched at Birth: ABC Family Castings and Auditions

Switched at Birth
Switched at Birth- ABC Family

ABC Family has announced last month that they will be doing a second season of their show Switched at Birth. The new drama  series is set to premier on September 3. ABC Family has ordered 22 new episodes  and the casting directors are looking to cast extras for the show. Switched at Birth is another drama that ABC has added to their already astounding  fall series line up.

Switched at birth is a family drama that involves two teenagae girls from the opposite sides of the spectrum that were accidentaly switched at birth. Bay Kennish grew up with a wealthy family with both parents and a brother, meanwhile Daphne Vasquez, who lost hear hearing due to meningitis when she was a child, grew up with a single mother and a poor neighborhood.  They later find out that they have been living eachothers lives because they were switched at birth at the hospital when they were born. The drama revs up as the two families meat each-other and try to live together to make life better for the two girls. This is a great opportunity to work among a star filled cast and for a great fall series show.  Please keep checking back with us for more details and leave a comment

I don’t have any formal acting experience or training, but I am a ery quick study if given the chance. I fell in love with Switched At Birth and my dream is to have a role, even to be a hearing/signing extra with Switched at Birth or a similar show. I used to be in play, Narnia, High School Musical, Willy Wonka the chocolate factory, Wizard of oz, and I used to be a dancer, my mom teached me. My dad used to be a singer. I willing use my voice if I have to, I do know sign language for my whole life. Thanks.

  3. I was born Deaf and I love to act and dance. Despite my deafness, I’ve received numerous awards in school for my acting and dancing since I was 9 years old. I am now 22 years old, in college, and I started a nonprofit for the Deaf and Hard Of Hearing called Deaf Expressions, which started the first of its kind DHH Dance Company in Las Vegas NV.

Switched At Birth is the best TV show there is today for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and to have the chance to be a part of it even just briefly is a dream come true for me. I hope and pray to be considered to be part of the show.

Looking forward to hear back from you. Thank you very much.
