Season three of Showtime series the historical fictions The Borgias was announced earlier this year and the producers are now looking for extras and day roles. Season one premiered on June 11 2011 with a great responses from the audience,  Showtime ordered 10 episodes if the new season set to air in 2013. The series in created by Neil Jordan and stars Oscar winner Jeremy Irons as the head of the Renaissance-era Italian family. The Borigas has 4 Emmy nomination and this is great opportunity for any actor trying to build their resume or waiting for that big break.

The series is set around the turn of the 16th century and depicts the rise of the Borgia family into the Roman Catholic Church and their stuggle to keep their power. Rodrigo Borgia uses bribery, to secure his position as Pope Alexander VI. But he has gained enemies in the College of Cardinals, who begin to plot against him. When his great rival Cardinal Della Rovery travels across Italy and France to find allies in order overthrow him as the pope, he also must find alliances in order to be able to stay in power.   1. I would love to be an extra, but I am not sure where you shoot. I live on the East coast, though I am sure it’s either in Hollywood or somewhere else. It would be a great experience to get casted though! 🙂

  2. The link above is a picture of me. I would love to take a chance at having a part in the Borgias. I love the show, love the Italian Renaissance, and this would give me a chance to raise money to go back to college in my Visual Arts degree. It would be the opportunity of a lifetime for me!
