Blizzard Entertainment and Universal pictures will join forces in their new film Warcraft that is based off the popular video game series. Centering on Warcraft characters Lothar and Durotan, the movie’s plot will focus on telling both the human and orc sides of the story, according to director Duncan Jones. The star studded cast of the move will include Ben Foster (The Messenger, 3:10 To Yuma, X-Men: The Last Stand), Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Paula Patton (2 Guns, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), and many more. Universal Studios and Legendary Pictures have pushed the release date of Warcraft from December of 2015 to March 11th, 2016. The cast of the film will feature Ben Foster (“X-Men: The Last Stand”), Paula Patton (“Mirrors,” “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”), Travis Fimmel (“Vikings”), Toby Kebbell (“Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time”) and Rob Kazinsky (“Pacific Rim,” “True Blood”).
According to reports the movie starts filming early next year, with Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime and Paul Sams acting as executive producers. Blizzard’s Chris Metzen, Rob Pardo and Nick Carpenter will co-produce. The directors behind the film are now looking for male and female talent of all ages that are interested in auditioning.
